Guest Post: Road to Publication
Thanks for having me today! Like all authors, my road to publication has been a learning curve. I started to seriously pursue my writing career in 2016, and in 2017 Black Dawn was published. Soon to follow was the prequel Renegade as well as the first edition to Queen to Ashes. As much as I am thankful for the opportunities working with my previous publishing company provided, I am excited to say that Heir of Lies and the sequel Queen to Ashes are published by my own imprint, MM Books. It was a creative decision, and I’m excited to have many more books published under it!
About the Author
Mallory McCartney currently lives in Sarnia, Ontario with her husband and their three dachshunds Link, Lola and Leonard. When she isn’t working on her next novel or reading, she can be found day dreaming about fantasy worlds and hiking. Other favorite pastimes involve reorganizing perpetually overflowing bookshelves and seeking out new coffee and dessert shops.
