I've been a fan of Denise Hunter for years after reading a book that dealt with some tough things as well as faith, romance, and didn't feel preachy, but came across as genuinely authentic. That can be tough to do sometimes in the Christian genre and this author tends to pull it off well. The first book in this series, Lake Season, was a five-star read for me back in November (read my review here), so needless to say, I'm excited for book two and am hoping it will live up to my expectations. It's my pick this week...
