It's been some time since I've read a zombie book or even a dystopian. Some themes seem to only come around every few years. This one has an amazing cover, which first drew my attention, but then the story is about a girl who isn't the one who is supposed to save everyone, nor is she the one who gets the guy. That's also an unusual plot point. Another plus for it is that it's a standalone. It's my pick this week...
