Welcome to my Weekly Update where I share what's been going on and what's coming up!
I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I hope everyone is doing well! My state extended its stay-at-home order through May 15th, so 13 more days of staying home except for essential things.
We have desperately needed new dining chairs and finally bought some through a family member who sells them and gives us the wholesale price. We wanted white and ended up with ivory, so I spent time repainting them white this weekend. They have turned out well where I was patient and have a few mistakes where I was in a hurry. Lol! Overall, I'm happy with them for the price we paid even with the paint. We ended up getting the table too because it was cheaper for the set than just getting chairs. Go figure. Once I've screwed them all together I'll take a picture to share next week.
I also went back to work part-time this week cleaning the school library. I'm an aide, so I can't really do my job, but the district has decided that I must work to get paid, so my principal had to find things us employees that can't really do anything without kids present, could do. I'll be continuing to clean the library this coming week and possibly the week after that and then will move to another project for the last week of school. It did make this week quite a bit more hectic with the four kids at home still juggling online schoolwork, and my blogging, running tours, and reading definitely took a hit. Hopefully this week I'll manage my time better. Lots and lots of books coming up...

This Week
Book Deals
I recently created two lists on my Amazon shop, one for ebook deals (including freebies) and one for YA print books that are under $7 (including a couple of good hardcover deals, like Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers). I also grabbed some of the freebies, so if you're looking for some new books, feel free to check out my store here (obviously this is an Amazon affiliate link). I do plan on trying to keep these lists maintained and have already added a few more freebies, but don't know when they'll go back to full price. Do check prices.
Giveaways
I have two Onyx & Ivory book boxes I'm giving away. One giveaway is on my blog here and the other is on Instagram here. They'll both run through the end of May.
Last Week
In case you missed any of these over the past week...
I hope you all are safe and well!
