Welcome to my Weekly Update where I share what's been going on and what's coming up!
I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
We finally got rain this week and a bit of drop in temperatures, which was such a relief. I love the rain, but I think part of that is that it doesn't rain that much where we live. Still, it's perfect for dancing in or listening to while reading. I'm ready for it not to be so hot, but we still have at least another month of it ahead.

Last week was still crazy with the kids doing online school and me trying to get everything done that I need to, but I'm hoping this week will allow me to get ahead again. We were really happy that my oldest made his high school swim team. He's a junior and just switched schools so it's been a bit of an adjustment. My daughter will try out for high school volleyball in a couple of weeks, so we're hoping she'll also get on. It's even more competitive because of COVID as they have to keep their numbers low.
As far as reading goes, I had two books that just did not work for me this week and one that I had high expectations for and was disappointing when it wasn't fabulous. On the flip side, I also had two that I loved. I hope you're all staying safe and healthy!
